Last Year

My very first veggie garden in Central Florida was last year. I did a little reading, enough to realize that the growing season in New York was different from Florida but that was about it. So my hubby tilled up a patch of yard about 4 feet wide by 10 feet long and we plopped some veggies in the ground. In went tomatoes, eggplant, peppers and snow peas. It was hardly the onslaught of veggies that we expected. The plants all seemed to be growing then one by one they wilted and would not recover. How disappointing to see the green tomatoes on the plant and then the whole thing dies a slow wilty death. Sigh.

So I got real scientific-like for my next attempt. That's right, I read online and watched you tube videos! And here we are, take 2.
